About

I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Maryland and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. I was recently awarded my PhD from the Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center and the the School of Earth Sciences at The Ohio State University. I invite you to take a look at my CV, but here’s a bit about me that you won’t find there.

Science is a big part of my life – I have already moved across state lines twice for science jobs – but I am also a musician, a runner, a dog “mahm”, a baker, and a sit-com lover. I have played Horn professionally, but now I just play for fun with community bands (currently, the Greenbelt Concert Band). I have run two marathons with aspirations to do more, but my adopted 7.5-lb chihuahua mix Tuba wishes I wouldn’t go on 4-hour long training runs.

I love to travel, especially to connect with friends and family… and to see glaciers.
